Manston International Airshow Postponed to June 2026
Bill Giles, the organiser of Manston International Airshow, due to take place on 16th and 17th August 2025, has today (25 July 2025) taken the difficult decision to postpone the event to 6th and 7th June 2026.
This follows extensive consultations between the Flying Display Committee, appointed by the Event Organiser, and the Civil Aviation Authority, with regards to possible additional requirements over and above the statutory safety regulations surrounding airshows.
Those discussions only concluded this week, and we were pleased that the CAA has agreed that our plans are approvable. However, this sadly leaves us without sufficient time to finalise the plans to a satisfactory level in order to run the show this year.
We know how disappointed ticket holders will be that this much-anticipated event has had to be postponed to next year. Ticket holders will be able to apply for a full refund or defer their tickets to next year's event via a self-service portal on the website:

This year's two charity partners - the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey and Sussex (KSS) and Brain Tumour Research - both causes which have personal resonance for the airshow founder, Bill Giles, will be beneficiaries of the 2026 show. In addition, there will be links to donate to these charities on the refund application page, if any ticket holders wish to donate this year.
RiverOak Strategic Partnership, which owns and runs Manston Airport, has confirmed that it remains committed to supporting the airshow and is looking forward to hosting this event next year.
