Clacton Airshow 2025

The Clacton Airshow takes place on the sea front at Clacton-on-Sea in Essex. The show usually takes place on a Thursday and Friday in August.

This free, two-day event, includes a good mixture in the flying display including RAF participation along with display teams, aerobatic aircraft, and historic aircraft. On the ground there will be exhibits from the Army and RAF, children's activities, simulator, climbing and entertainment areas along the Clacton seafront.

The event site is located on West Greensward, Marine Parade West, CO15 1NW which is a grass area. The flight line, or datum, is directly in front of the Hospitality marquee.

A wide range of trade stands and a food court with a sumptuous selection of refreshments will be on hand. After the show there will be a chance to do some late night shopping with many of the retail stores staying open late.

Clacton Airshow - 21-22 August 2025:

Two days of thrilling flight displays and spectacular twilight flights (Thursday only) in the skies over Clacton's stunning seafront as well as a host of ground events on the West Greensward! Displays will commence around 13:45 and 20:00 (Twilight) THURSDAY and 13:00 FRIDAY.

Clacton Airshow History
The well established and free Clacton Airshow celebrated 25 years in 2016. Over 220,000 people attended the airshow in 2015.

The event is organised by Tendring District Council and is based in the stunning Tendring District along the award winning Essex Sunshine Coast.

The Clacton Airshow was cancelled in 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and during 2021 a smaller 'Clacton 150 anniversary flights' event featuring the Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight took place.
