Blackpool Airshow.

Blackpool Airshow History
Blackpool hosted the UK's first official air show in 1909 and now this free two-day seafront air show is staged annually, usually in August.

Blackpool air display takes place over the famous Blackpool promenade between North and Central piers.

Some of the display aircraft will operate from the nearby Blackpool Airport.

Blackpool Airshow is a free two-day event which takes place in August.

The air display is usually about three hours long each day and there are also trade stands and simulators etc.

Blackpool hosted the UK's first official Air Show in 1909! Today, the event is staged annually with jaw dropping aerobatic stunts and fly-bys from some incredible aircraft no longer in commission.

This weekend seafront show is free, and will feature a whole host of incredible flying machines. The Air Show is set to attract tens of thousands of people to the Promenade for the event.
