Headcorn International Airshow 2026

Headcorn International Airshow 2026

Headcorn International Airshow 2026 - Seafire.

The Headcorn International Airshow replaces the Battle of Britain Show for 2026. It will feature a diverse programme of aircraft and performances, alongside the classic displays audiences have enjoyed for over a decade.

This event marks a bright new chapter at Headcorn Aerodrome following the conclusion of the Battle of Britain Show with the airfield's biggest, most ambitious project to date.

The sky is just the beginning. While the aircraft dazzle overhead, the Headcorn showground comes alive with a world-class programme of ground entertainment - making this a truly international event that's as thrilling at ground level as it is at altitude. Whether you're here for the planes, the cars, the food, or simply the spectacle, there's something extraordinary waiting around every corner.

Headcorn Airshow History

Headcorn Aerodrome, formerly RAF Lashenden, opened in 1943 and became a prototype for the temporary Advanced Landing Ground airfields that were built in France after D-Day, when the need for advanced landing fields became urgent as the Allied forces moved east across France and Germany.

A small museum of aviation relics was established on the site at Lashenden Air Warfare Museum.

The 2022 Headcorn Battle of Britain Airshow was the 7th event, exquisitely blending choreographed Battle-of-Britain era aircraft displays with family friendly attractions and re-enactments.

The Headcorn International Airshow replaced the Battle of Britain Show for 2026 with the airfield's biggest, most ambitious project to date.
