Somme International Airshow 2019

The Somme International Airshow (Meeting Aerien International de la Somme) took place at Albert Picardie, France on the 25th August 2019.

Peter Busby attended this event and this is what he had to say:

Following the preparation of the Airshow on Facebook, and with the forecast of blue skies, and a variety of interesting aircraft, the show at Albert was always going to be a spectacular event, and that is exactly what happened!

For me, the highlight was the display by the Belgian Airforce F-16, complete with the firing of flares, however, the Polish F-16 , was excellent too, and with a parachute landing!

There were many different types flying, and I hope that my photos, do some justice, to what was, a well organised display, in this famous area of the Somme.
