Chinook at the Eastbourne International Airshow Michael Bowyer

The photograph was taken with a Nikon D100 at Eastbourne Air in August 2003.
The photograph shows the Chinook in a simulated rescue at sea.

Taken at Yeovilton this year on the Commando assault.

Chinook at the RAF Leuchars Airshow on the 11th September 2004. The equipment used to take this was a Canon EOS10d with a 75-300 USM MKII lens.

Philip Jones Taken at the Farnborough Air Show on 25 July 2004 on a step ladder several yards from the front of the crowd line on tarmac where most people do not like to sit or stand. Technical info - Cannon EOS10D, Shutter speed 180th of a second set at 100 ISO at F9.5 using auto focus with a Cannon IS 100-400 lens.

Steve Darley The shot was taken at RAF Waddington Air Day this year (on the Sunday, 27th of June) with a Canon EOS 10D, through a 35-350 USM Canon lens. The shutter speed was 1/750 and F9.5. Just gives the blades a little motion.

Here is a Chinook performing a mock rescue dropping a man off on a dingy (not visible due to spray) then picking him up after a display flight on the 12th August at the Eastbourne airshow.
