RIAT 2007 Concours d'Elegance Awards
Concours d'Elegance
An International panel of judges will adjudicate the Concours e'Elegance competition, open to all static display participants. Trophies, suitable engraved, will be awarded to the winners of various elements of the competitions. Each winner will also receive a Certificate of Award.
The winners of the Royal International Air Tattoo's Concours D'Elegance ground competition were as follows:
The EADS Trophy: was awarded to the 1st Runner Up in Concours d'Elegance
It was presented by: Mr Robin Southwell, CEO of EADS UK to Vigilant Glider from 612 VGS Royal Air Force, Flt Lt Mike Newton or CGI A Mellor.
The Lockheed Martin Trophy - was awarded to the 2nd Runner Up in Concours d'Elegance
It was presented by: Mr Tom Burbage, Executive Vice-President and General Manager F-35 Programme, Lockheed Martin to Tornado GR4 from 2(AC) Sqn Royal Air Force flown by Flt Lt R Sandberg and Capt R Wiese.
The Page Aerospace Trophy was awarded to the Winners of the Concours d'Elegance

The Northrop Grumman Trophy was awarded to the 1st Runner Up in the Ground Skills Competition
It was presented by: Mr Scott Seymour, Corporate Vice President Integrated Systems, Northrop Grumman to Team Lynx from 156th Fighter Bomber Sqn, 36th Wing from the Italian Air Force - Lt Col Coppola.
The Finmeccanica Trophy was awarded to the 2nd Runner Up in the Ground Skills Competition
It was presented by Alberto de Benedictis, Chief Executive, Finmeccanica to Team Hercules from 356th Tactical Air lift Sqn, 112 Combat Wg from the Hellenic Air Force - Major Perdikaris.
The Goodrich Trophy was awarded to the Winners of the Ground Skills Competition.
It was presented by: Mr Sam Madeod, Managing Director, Goodrich Control Systems to The Big Choppers from 18 (B) Sqn Royal Air Force - Flt Lt Mike Killick.
The BAE Systems 'Spirit of the Meet' Trophy was awarded to the participant embodying the spirit of RIAT.
